In a world of packed schedules and rushed appointments, the goal at Collins Orthodontics is to be different. Regardless of your individual case and needs, you will always get the time and attention necessary to achieve the highest quality results. But it’s about more than producing a beautiful smile. In addition to loving your new look, we strive to make your experience at each and every visit to our office something to look forward to rather than to dread. We want the process to be as pleasant as the outcome.
Our brand-new office space, located at 8124 Highway 100 (just across the street from Kroger), features a private treatment room and top-of-the-line technologies including 3D-printing of models (to streamline retainer fabrication), digital scanners (no uncomfortable mouth impressions), and the latest in clear aligner offerings.
Meet Dr. Collins
Sam Collins, D.M.D. hails from the small town of Norris, Tennessee. He developed his work ethic from time spent on his father’s Christmas tree farm, and his patience from growing up with three sisters. A late bloomer to orthodontic care himself, he got his braces off just in time to head to Belmont University. During his time there, Dr. Collins earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science and also became a fan of all things Music City. (Yes, even Vanderbilt football.) After college, he attended dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While earning his DMD, he developed a passion for orthodontics, specifically the patient connections and gratifications that come with the field. (There aren’t many jobs that permit you to so directly change someone’s life for the better.) Dr. Collins completed his orthodontics residency at Medical University of South Carolina in 2018. During his free time, he enjoys spending afternoons on the lake, golfing, fishing, and the occasional game of pick-up basketball.
